Opening pathways to future careers

Matla supports young students explore career opportunities and future possibilities.

Choosing a career starts with understanding what is possible and what it takes to get there. Our Matla Mine proudly participated in the Youth Career Exhibition held in eMbalenhle near Secunda, empowering young people with information about career opportunities and professional development.

The exhibition gave learners an opportunity to ask questions, explore different career paths and gain a better understanding of the skills and qualifications required to pursue them.

By helping learners make informed decisions about their futures, we are investing not only in individual potential, but in the long-term growth of our host communities.

Why this matters: When young people can see what’s possible, they are better equipped to pursue it. By sharing knowledge, encouraging ambition and opening doors to future careers, we are developing the next generation of talent while contributing to more resilient, prosperous communities.
