Welcome to the Spring Edition of xxplore!

Spring is a season of growth and renewal, and this edition reflects how Exxaro is blooming. We are stronger in business, deeper in culture, and bolder in impact.

We reaped the benefits of strong leadership this season. Our 2025 Interim Results reflect how we are accelerating progress on our Sustainable Growth and Impact (SG&I) strategy and our Integrated Report earned recognition for transparency and accountability, reflecting the dedication of Team Exxaro.

Safety remains at the root of everything we do. The One Voice Safety Strategy came to life at Matla, Leeuwpan, Mines in Closure KZN and the conneXXion, uniting employees around our culture of Zero Harm and our shared vision for “Safety Always All The Way”. Initiatives such as Matla’s Seven Million Step Challenge also highlight how wellness and resilience strengthen us and keep us moving forward together.

We are planting seeds for the future. Matla hosted its first Career Expo, giving young learners a glimpse into the world of mining, energy, and STEM. Our Mandela Day activities, which included planting food gardens and enhancing water security for communities, proved that meaningful change happens when business, government and communities unite around a common purpose..
