Matla Mine hosted its first-ever two-day Career Expo in Ga-Nala, Kriel, bringing together Grade 9 and 11 learners from Kriel High School, Lehlaka Combined School, and Sibongamandla Secondary School under the theme 'Explore Your Future.'<\/p>\n

The expo was designed to inspire and guide learners as they prepare for their future careers. Activities included motivational talks, panel discussions, one-on-one career guidance sessions, and exhibitions from industry experts and business partners. A highlight was Exxaro\u2019s exhibition stand, which featured virtual reality underground tours, giving learners a glimpse into the mining environment.<\/p>\n

The Career Expo left learners more informed, inspired, and better prepared to make subject choices that will shape their career paths. It also reflects Exxaro\u2019s commitment to education as a pillar of our Social Impact Strategy, ensuring that young people are equipped with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
