Belfast Mine hosted its Long Service Awards on 23 October 2025 under the theme Rooted in Excellence, Rising Together. Held at Will Chris Estate in Witbank, the event celebrated employees with 5, 15, 20, 30, and 35 years of service.

Acting General Manager Sizwe Moroku praised the Pioneers for their dedication and perseverance, saying:

“It is because of your contribution that Belfast is where it is today.”

He acknowledged the challenges many have faced, adding:

“There were times when it was tough, and you may have wanted to give up, but you didn’t. You are a bunch of winners.”
