Leeuwpan Mine combined its annual long service awards with a farewell celebration on Wednesday, 29 October 2025 at the Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre. All permanent employees attended to celebrate award recipients and bid farewell to colleagues departing as part of the Section 189 process.

The ceremony recognised team members with 25, 35 and 40 years of service. As the event transitioned into the Farewell Celebration, the tone shifted to reflection and sincere appreciation.
