As part of our commitment to broadening access to education in our host communities, we continue to create opportunities that expose young people to meaningful career pathways in engineering, the built environment, and information technology.

In July, 24 matric learners from the communities around our Matla Mine participated in the University of Pretoria’s EBIT Winter School, a dynamic programme designed to bridge ambition and opportunity.

Through this immersive experience, the learners spent time on campus, explored various academic streams, and gained first-hand insight into what it takes to succeed in their chosen fields. The programme gave them a glimpse into university life while building their confidence and expanding their horizons.
