Matla launches its
Seven Million Step Challenge
Matla launched its three-month road towards seven million steps with an event featuring bootcamps, a cycle for a smoothie station, aerobics and a skipping rope challenge to get employees eager and ready to sign up for the challenge.
A qualified dietitian was on hand to give guidance on nutrition, promote healthy eating habits and offer a body measurement assessment to help track progress. Over 2000 employees and business partners attended and participated in the activities.
The challenge reflects Matla’s long-term vision of cultivating a healthy, active living culture, where employees take ownership of their health to ensure they are in peak condition for their physically demanding work. All in a bid to achieve our goal of Zero Harm.
To date, 126 teams comprising 1 480 employees have already registered for the challenge. Participants will collectively aim to achieve seven million steps over the campaign period, symbolising a united stride towards better health, stronger teams, and injury-free production.
